Learn more about us!

Every year, we host several open information evenings where we talk about the organisation, application process and the requirements for working in our projects. This time, we invite you who are interested in joining MSF’s pool of dedicated aid workers to meet online. Two of our international staff, both medical and non-medical, will tell you more about their experiences. They will give you diverse perspectives on working with MSF.

We encourage questions from attendees and our recruitment team will be on hand to provide answers.

Speakers

Sandra Petersen
Learning and development/ HR manager

Sandra is a L&D/HR manager that has worked in MSF missions in Afghanistan, Myanmar, Syria and Ukraine.

"I work with MSF because I see the difference that MSF does in the world, not only in providing much needed medical care, but also in witnessing and speaking out about what is happening around the world and in supporting and lifting the enormous local workforce MSF has. I believe in the values of MSF and I see the impact the work of MSF has."

Simon Esbersen
Medical doctor

Simon is a medical doctor (paediatric resident) that recently completed his first mission for MSF, a six-month deployment in Boma, South Sudan.

"My motivation to work with MSF stems from the organization’s strong medical focus, operational independence, and commitment to providing care based solely on need, regardless of political or social context. I have always had a strong interest in humanitarian work and have previously volunteered with organizations such as the Red Cross, Save the Children, and TANF-Ghana."
